Prof. Mustafa Kerem completed his graduation from the distinguished Cukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1994, Dr. Mustafa Karem received his specialization training from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine General Surgery (1994-2000).

He has memberships of National Associations such as the Turkish Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Association, Clinical Enteral Parenteral Nutrition Association, Probiotic Prebiotic Association, and International Associations such as European-African Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, The Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, International Hepato-Pancreato Biliary Association, Asian-Pacific Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, Fellow of American College of Surgeons, etc.
He has also served as the Visiting Professor at several foreign institutes such as the reputable New York Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (2010), Toronto University Toronto General Hospital (2014), and the Korea Seoul ASAN Hospitals Pancreas and Liver Surgery Center (2016 and 2018).
Dr. Mustafa Kerem has also served the Administrative duties of Deputy Chief Physician at the prestigious Faculty of Medicine, Gazi University (2012 – 2013) and later as the Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, Gazi University (2013 – Ongoing).
