Rafiyev Farid Sakhavat Oglu was born on may 30, 1981 in Baku. In 1998, after graduating from high school with honors, he entered the Faculty of treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University in the same year. In 2004 he graduated from the same university with honors. In 2007, he took courses in “Miniinvasive surgery” and “laparoscopic surgery” in Berlin, Germany. For his scientific work on the topic” prevention of laparoscopic fundoplication complications ” in 2013 he was awarded the title of Doctor of philosophy in Medical Sciences. In 2011, he graduated with honors from “CICE” courses in Clermont, France and was awarded the Diploma of Proffessor Bruhat. In 2014-2016 he was awarded the honorary award” doctor of the year”. In 2018, he received the International Mini Gastric Bypass Surgeon of Excellence Bronze Certification award. In 2021, she successfully completed the Ircad Certificate of training in minimal access surgery course in Strasbourg.[2]
