Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Intensive Care Unit, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are designed using the most recent means of technology and hospital architecture. Giving priority to patient comfort, CIP, VIP, standard patient rooms, and intensive care patient rooms are equipped with all systems required to carry out medical procedures and treatments.

Medicana International Istanbul Hospital has a capacity of XXX inpatient beds, eight operating theaters, 26 observation beds, 17 medical and surgical intensive care beds, 9 CVS intensive care beds, five coronary intensive care beds, and ten incubators in neonatal intensive care unit in an indoor area of 30,000 m2.

Advanced Oncology Unit

A state-of-the-art PET-CT scanner installed in the nuclear medicine unit, which plays a prominent role in cancer treatment, can precisely identify cancerous cells. Thus, the treatment targets only cancerous cells, and healthy cells are not harmed.

Bone Marrow Center

Our Bone Marrow Transplantation Center has allowed patients from numerous cities in Turkey and many countries to turn over a new leaf for a second life in Istanbul since 2020. We are proud and happy to perform bone marrow transplantation as of 2020. Intensive Care Services

The hospital has 14 beds in the medical-surgical intensive care unit, 13 beds in the CVS intensive care unit, seven incubators in the neonatal intensive care unit, and seven beds in the Coronary intensive care unit.

Our intensive care units have waiting, information, and resting areas for family members and a Mother-Baby Adaptation – Training Room, where mothers are informed.

The design is based on unique architecture for children’s playgrounds at the pediatric outpatient and pediatric inpatient clinics.

Multi-functional Emergency Medicine

All services are organized to fulfill the needs of inpatients and outpatients at the Emergency Room of Medicana International Istanbul Hospital. One operating theater for conditions that require urgent surgical intervention and seven close monitoring beds, including one isolation room, are present in the Emergency Room along with decontamination, resuscitation, acute intervention, radiological imaging, and observation rooms. Moreover, there are two red zone beds, one yellow zone bed, 1 CPR room, and one imaging room.
